Minutes of Meeting :

 

1. The Mountaineer cum Group Managing Director of TR Group of Companies, Mr T.Ravichandran called the meeting to order at 8.45pm, welcomed the group and introduce the new members Mr. Oyvind, representative from Roxar (M) Sdn Bhd and Mr. Andrew, representative from OCBC Kepong Branch.

2. The project mountaineer, Mr T. Ravichandran briefed the project member regarding his trip to Pakistan for the Earthquake Relief organized by Nanyang Foundation. He explained that the death rate was high due to the cement roof that the villages is using and this is the first time in his life doing injection for 5,000 times.

3. He informed that the response from the Ministry of Sport and Youth, Malaysia on the Ministry’s involvement was positive and they confirmed that we are allowed to get tax exemption letter for the sponsor of this project.

4. With regards to the launching of the project, Mr T. Ravichandran notified the project members that we are still waiting for the confirmation from the Minister of Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development for The Minister's availability.

5. Dato’ Rahim, the project advisor updated the members in regards to the Patron participation. The official letter to invite the Patron already forwarded by hand. Meanwhile, we are still waiting the endorsement letter from the Prime Minister’s office.

6. Dato’ further informed the project should open a bank account the soonest possible. Dato’ then proposed the Project Member to open an account with Malayan Banking Berhad. 

7. Mr. Andrew, representative from OCBC Bank emphasized that the project should not have two donors / sponsors which is from the same industry. Dato’ and Datin agreed and allowed Mr. Andrew to proceed first with his proposal to the Chairman of OCBC Bank.

8. Mr T. Ravichandran addressed that during his discussion with TV3, Cik Farina was suggesting that 2 crew members of TV3 should join the expedition, however we need to allocate sponsorship to the crew members.

9. The representative from MAKNA, Cik Wan Nurina informed the Project Member that MAKNA is upgrading their web-site and will include this expedition into their homepage. She also informed that MAKNA is organizing an exhibition in PWTC and will arrange the project’s bunting to be placed at their booth.

10. 10.0      Mr Ravichandran adjourned the meeting at 09.30pm and he gratitude all the representatives.
